Short Breaks

Short Breaks can now be booked throughout the year.

Bookings

Bookings for self-catering accommodation are accepted, subject to availability, and on receipt of the completed booking form and 30% deposit.

The deposit is non-returnable. The deposit, unless agreement is made with the owner or authorised person from ‘Quay Quarters’ is expected within 48 hours of confirming the reservation. Otherwise the property will be re-advertised.

Bookings made through our online booking system are provisional until confirmed by Quay Quarters on receipt of deposit.

Should the cottage, subsequent fo booking, become unavailable through any cause, you must accept that the Owner’s liability is limited to the amount of any hire cost paid.

Payment

The balance of the payment is due 56 days before date of arrival.

Non-payment of the balance by the due date shall be construed as a cancellation by the Client.

For bookings made less than 56 days before commencement of the rental the total rental fee is payable on booking.

Cancellations

Cancellation must be advised as soon as possible, and every effort will be made to re-let the cottage. For cancellations made by the Client within two weeks of the arrival date, the entire amount will be forfeit. We strongly recommend you insure against cancellation. The deposit is non-returnable.

Arrivals & Departures

All bookings are from 3pm on the day of arrival.

Vacating by 10am on the day of departure.

We will charge extra (£50) for any late departures as we have a short time to prepare the cottages for the arrival of new guests. Please respect this request.

Number of Persons in the Property

The maximum number of adults allowed in each cottage is clearly stated on the website and brochure and no other person than those shown on the booking form may be accommodated unless confirmed in advance. The maximum number of adults allowed to be accommodated cannot exceed the number of bed spaces. A child is considered a baby up to the age of 2 and will be offered cot free of charge.

Due to insurance reasons, there is a maximum number of persons that each cottage can sleep. This must not be exceeded otherwise this will be a breach of contract and will terminated the hire of said cottage with immediate effect and without any recompense in any way to the hirer.

We reserve the right of entry to the properties at all reasonable times for the purposes of inspection or to carry out repairs and/or maintenance.

Care of the Property

The Client shall take all reasonable and proper care of the property and its furniture, pictures, fittings and effects in or on the property and leave them in the same state of repair and in the same clean and tidy condition at the end of the rental as at the beginning.

We ask you to report and pay for any damage or breakage in your cottage during your stay.

Please inform us as quickly as possible if you have a complaint with your accommodation or if you find that there is anything faulty with the cottage that needs our attention. This will enable us to to assist, repair or replace or make alternative arrangements within the time frame of your stay wherever feasible or possible. Due to the limited period of hire, it may not be possible to replace/repair some items/faults during the period of hire.

No liability shall be accepted by Quay Quarters & Apuldram Manor Farm for loss, damage or theft of personal property, including bicycles, leisure gear, belonging to the guests either in the property or in any vehicle left on the property. Nor shall liability be accepted by us for accident or injury to guests, either within the property or outside. This does not affect your legal statutory rights. We recommend that you take out adequate holiday cover for your belongings/person during your hire period of a Quay Quarters cottage.

Children

Please be aware, we are a working farm and children MUST be accompanied/supervised at all times

No Smoking Policy

Quay Quarters operates a strict NO SMOKING policy inside the cottages.

Linen and Extras

Please do contact us if you have any specific requirements we may be able to help with. Please note additional charges may apply.

For stays in excess of a week we will provide clean linen & towels during your stay. The timing of the new linen/towels we will agree with you on your arrival.

It is possible to arrange to have cottages cleaned during a stay. Please do not hesitate to contact us to discuss if this is something you would like.

VAT

All prices quoted are inclusive of VAT @ 20% if you require a VAT invoice please request one.

Whilst every care is taken to ensure that our brochure and website are correct the owners cannot be held liable for any changes or alterations made. The owners of ‘Quay Quarters’ are relieved of any liability from accidents to guests and any loss or damage to property.

It is the intention of the owners that ‘Quay Quarters’ provides a relaxing holiday environment. Any guest who does not comply with thee conditions or whose behaviour is detrimental to the property or the comfort of other guests will be asked to leave. The owner reserves the right to decline accommodation. The owners are entitled to reasonable access to the cottages for maintenance etc.
